About Me

After half a lifetime in the same college, teaching a range of subjects to mostly disinterested teenagers I've taken the offer made to me.

I had a glorious summer working for Anti Doping at the velodrome for the Olympics and then at the athletics for the Paralympics. Proof that you can teach an oid dog a new trick or two. Since then I've worked up my hobby of woodturning and fettling, and many people have seen me as a new addition to the craft market circuit around central Lancashire.

As with face to face sales, I want you to be confident in the quality of my work and to feel happy that the products you are buying will add style and character to whoever they are for. All the items I sell are handmade by me, in a garage, using a 1957 lathe and a set of tools left to me by my grandfather.

I am happy to accept returns, and will refund if you are not entirely happy the cost of the goods. As I am a one man set up, I cannot afford to absorb the postage costs on refunds.

In the four years I have been trading at occasional craft fairs, and more recently in making this as full time as I can, I have never had to refund any sale and I am blessed with much repeat business.

I look forward to answering any questions or requests you haveĀ  and would be delighted to send you a catalogue of my products and / or discuss commission ideas you may have.
